Black Pine Weddings

Grounded in nature and impossible to replicate.

There is beauty in a place that exists first as a vineyard, grounded and impossible to replicate.

Black Pine Vineyards may not be for everyone. But for couples who value authenticity over perfection, who are drawn to places with a story and a sense of purpose, there is something poignant about gathering under a century-old ponderosa pine, among the vines and with the Okanagan Lake as a backdrop.

We host a limited number of weddings each year, not because we are a venue that happens to have a vineyard, but because we are a vineyard that occasionally has the privilege of hosting weddings.

Beneath the sweeping canopy of a century-old ponderosa pine, a natural amphitheatre creates an intimate ceremony setting — simple, majestic, and needing little adornment.

Bridal Aisle

Arches installed early summer allow grapevines to grow and weave naturally throughout the season. By late summer, the vineyard aisle becomes a living colonnade of vines, creating a shaded, organic passage for the bride’s entrance.

There is something unforgettable about the elegance of couture framed by the honesty of the land.

Poolside Gathering and Champagne Toast

While the bridal party takes photographs across the vineyard, guests enjoy refreshments on the pool terrace overlooking the lake. Once photographs are complete, the bride and groom join their guests for a celebratory champagne toast before the evening festivities begin.
