Your Vine. Your Vintage. Your Story.
The Vigneron Experience
Inspired by the French tradition of the vigneron—a grower intimately connected to both the vineyard and the wine—this program offers a rare opportunity to experience the creation of Pinot Noir from the ground up.
Every vintage tells a story. Make this one yours.
You choose your level of involvement — Observer, Steward, or Vigneron. Over the course of a growing season, you'll experience something very few people ever have the opportunity to do — make your own Naramata Bench Pinot Noir.
With a dedicated row of premium Pinot Noir vines, you will follow the season’s progress. Some people prefer to follow along through seasonal updates and enjoy the finished wine. Others want to roll up their sleeves and join us in the vineyard for shoot thinning, canopy management, or simply harvest and crush — the rewarding experience of transforming grapes into wine.
From vineyard to bottle, the result is more than twelve cases of Pinot Noir refined to your palate. You aren't buying access to a vineyard. You're gaining access to our knowledge of this site and its particular terroir, while making the decisions that shape and reflect your taste in Pinot Noir.
Your signature label.
Your wine deserves a label as considered as the decisions behind it. Your custom label will be designed by Black Pine owner and award-winning packaging designer Kathi Prosser, whose career began in London alongside acclaimed UK designer Glenn Tutssel, renowned for his work in the wine and spirits industry - Bacardi, Guinness and Perroni to name a few.
Whether inspired by your family, your business, or simply the personality of the vintage, your label becomes the final expression of your wine — and each bottle a reminder of the experience.
Our crush pad is complete and ready to welcome guests for hands-on winemaking experiences. While on-site accommodations are still under development and expected next year, we are delighted to package your stay with our friends at the Naramata Inn,creating a seamless wine country experience in the heart of the Naramata Bench.
A vigneron's identity is tied to the vineyard—to understanding the site and allowing its terroir to speak through the finished wine. We'll teach you everything we've learned about our vineyard—but the decisions are yours.
